New member of the family..

Tadaa..

I dun really like cats though. Cos they usually make a mess out of everything. Then sometimes they will sneak into the house to steal some food which reallly pisses us off. But lately the mother cat gave birth to these 2 little kittens. So they were quite cute and we couldn't bear to throw them away. So we just let them stay at the back of the house and give them some left over food.

Dumpling Festival..

Yippie. I'm back in mlk again. my 2nd time during my training. hehe. just because of a longer weekend so got myself back. Too bad i'm back alone this time. Agnes has her MAB going on so she's gonna be busy.
I've just meet a couple people back here. Not many though. Some aren't around, even my sis ( enjoying life in genting ). For the second time i came back i've din't met here. Avoid me on purpose. =.=
Anyway, she left something for me for my birthday. Sweet of her. But i wasn't expecting anything moreover things like that.

cute?
Back to the main topic, so happen this weekend is dumpling festival. You can find dumplings at any corner of mlk. Market pasar malam, jonker, i haven't check in tesco yet though. hehe. I like dumplings. We have like 3 kinds of dumplings here. The typical Bak Chang which has pork, dried mushroom, water chestnuts, some have dried oyster, dried prawn and etc. Another type is the Nyonya dumplings, it's a little sweet, has mince pork, winter melon and etc all minced and stuff in the dumpling. Some people doesn't like it as much but i'm fine with it. hehe. The other is 'kee chang' kinda yellowish, tasteless little dumplings. People usually eat with sugar or some with kaya.
So we wanted to buy some dumpling to eat at first but prices really hikes up. Previously was like rm2 plus then rm3. This time they were sold at rm3.50 each. Sad Sad Sad. So daddy and I decided that we made our own dumplings. First time. So excited. lol. So we bought our stuff and whatever is needed and headed back home. Prepared everything and getting ready to wrap dumplings. My dad was pretty good in wrapping. But I am struggling to get a tetrahedron dumpling rather than a kinda flatten pyramid or some other odd shapes. Opps.
We bought the stuff but couldn't really estimate how many dumpling can it make. We did the first round, and came up with 17 dumplings. Done with the glutinous rice. But we still have about half the rest of the ingredients. So we decided more glutinous rice and more dumplings. Hehe. and we ended up having about 35 dumplings.
The results, not too bad. I'd give myself 8/10 =P
