Regards from Vietnam!

It's been a long time since my last post. Reason : I'm in Vietnam. I din't have my lappy with me. So i only survive with whatever internet's available.
I've been to Hanoi, with the craziest traffic i've ever seen, Halong Bay, greatest wonder of the world, Sapa, it's just great. Then I stayed back in Hanoi for few more days. Met lots of new friends. Totally unexpected. My journey continues to Hue, nice town, hot weather, bad luck ( lost a bike, ended up paying 1mil ), relaxed a little in Danang, now hanging out in Hoi An, an ancient city, lots of tourist, have a little feel of malacca just without the traffic. Still a long way to go. Will try to post more updates where ever possible. Next up is Nha Trang and Saigon.

Us in Halong Bay with a super friendly French lady.

That's it for now...

I'm out!

Ahh.. Finally I'm out of this boring place for few hours. Momo's back in campus. So we went out for dinner in butterworth and movie in Jusco. It felt so good being able to get away from work and campus even for a while. Well Momo's leaving soon, so I guess next time there wouldn't be much chance like this. Or maybe yesterday night will be the last hang out, at least with him. I guess he found other things much more attractive and things are much better elsewhere. Wish him luck.
Anyway, went Chai Leng park for dinner then went over Jusco for Terminator. I guess I'm among the last few ppl to watch the show. Can't help it. Living in a remote area. Hehe. The movie's great but i think Star Trek is much better.

A little to complaint, I'm not sure if it's TGV cinema or technical prob. The show's suppose to start at 10.45pm but we waited for like 10 min pass time but still no sign of anything. Not even advertisement on the screen. So ppl were like complaining till almost 11 then finally things got started. Back almost 130am.
Bedtime..

The most perfect gift of all...

Here I am on this sat afternoon of a public holiday lazing around, enjoying the rain which have been missing in action for a while. A little backdated post which i should have posted a little earlier. It's my birthday! Hehe. i was back 2 weeks ago to celebrate my birthday. Counted down in the bus. It started of with a little bad luck as my bus sort of broke down on the way back. Delayed a little but manage to get it moving again and got me safely back home at about 730am.

I think the bus overheated

There i was in the middle of the PLUS Highway

There I am back at Malacca Sentral. Happy to see Mr Sunshine.

Spend a day at home and went out for dinner with family. I think that is one of the greatest things of all. Celebrating birthday with family members once a while is just great. I know it's great to celebrate it with a bunch of crazy friends in crazy ways, but somehow this is also great. So we went to have steamboat at Q Best SteamBoat Seafood Restorant. It's a pretty new shop somewhere near Kota Laksamana. Since it's new so it's pretty clean and everything looks decent. It's not all you can eat style. They count by per head orders and any extra add on. They use electric steamboat pots instead of the typical gas. It tends to heat up faster

The menu

Here comes the food ( look at those noodle like fish paste )

Something to keep my stomach full

And a nice cup of sourplum juice

Everybody get movin' I'm starving

Waiting for it to boil

Ah.. Finally .. food

After dinner we headed back home. They bought a cake on their way home. Although I'm quite stuffed but till can fit a little. Hehe.
And.... ta da...

Sweet 14.. LoL I mean 24.. I tot I could fool everyone..

Persuading and Convincing Sucks!

Here i am again. Been lazing for a while. Actually not really. Just busy with other stuffs. Work in the lab still continues. Been working up late for several days. Then the guys from Perodua stopped by last Friday to check on our progress and the works going on. Then had some discussion and QnA. I left a little early for work (parttime).

We threw everything out of the car and we mean everything. Poor car.

He looks bad.

Been working part time last weekend as Digi Promoter in Carrefour. Money is just not enough. Persuading and convincing ppl is just not my type of job. I thought it wouldn't be that hard but somehow I was proven wrong. I failed badly. Should i just stop doing that and just stand there for 8 hours instead doing nothing. Hmm.. maybe not. I might try take up the challenge again some other time. I must do better in near future. Somehow I think those skills is rather important nowadays and you just can't learn it from books. You have to try and fail and try till you succeed. Anyway, still manage to survive that 3 days. Haven't been working for a while made me so tired everyday after work. Wonder how did I survived last time from 9am when i step out of house and back at midnight. Any words or idea to success in this? Hehe.

Back again in campus after 3 days of hardwork. Did some work here and there in the lab. On the other hand, i was busy planning on my Vietnam trip. Yippie. I'm so looking forward to it. Still working on it with Teodore and some confirmations needs to be done and Vietnam Here I Come!!! It's just 2 weeks away. Wonder if I'll get to blog during my trip. Hopefully I can get to update it throughout the wholetrip when I have the time..

Record Just Got Broken

I feel my head spinning a little when waking up. I guess it's due to the tiredness from the late night work. I got back from the lab at 430am. Kinda record so far. Previously i think i only manage to stay up till bout 2am max. So yesterday I just broke my own record. Due dates are close and lots works need to be done. That just sounds so common. Just a brief of my work. I'm working as research asst. and currently busy several jobs in hand but the main concern is the Perodua EcoChallenge which is a little Myvi provided by Perodua and competing with other Uni to produce the most miles with a certain amount of fuel. So basically hacking, chopping, and doing all it takes to make it go the most. Working and working, time just passes by so fast. It's already 4 when I finally check on the time. So called it a day. Still more work need to be done today.
Tiredness is absolute. I find scratches here and there on my hands. Even both my hands looks reddish. Wonder why. Wonder if it's the sun or the engine. Time to work again.

Oops. can't leak too much info. Wait other competitor finds out. LoL

News on Perodua EcoChallenge
Hmm.. lots to blog but just don't have the time.
My cs3 just got busted i think cos i installed some updates.

Dun Shit Around The Neighbourhood

Woke up a little late today. Whole body aching probably due to the exercise yesterday. It's a good sign though, indicating that my body is finally working rather than lazing around for like decades. lol. Prepared for my interview in the afternoon which was rather short and quick. Definitely less than 10 mins. Being the first person interviewed was rather scary but it was over before I knew it. I hope things will turn out good for me. Fingers crossed.

Besides, I was rather pissed of by actions of X. I truly understand that it sucks having poops in ur garden. I dun mind you complaining, whining, and even throwing the poop around.... for a while. There's just this period where others would understand and tolerate it. But that doesn't mean that those actions and continue carry on and on. It seems to be getting from bad to worse. Starting to throw poops on other's house and eventually the whole neighbourhood. It pollutes the whole neighbourhood and eventually it will become untolerable. Now you start giving others problem due to your own. There's a limit. Instead solving the problem now you've turn into the prob. It's just the matter of time if these continues. Why not just clean up ur garden, beautify it and throw whatever rubbish into the rubbish bin rather than leaving it messy and annoy everyone else. Life still must go on. Why look into sad history? Look into the beautiful future. Refusing to tell right on the face because we still treat u as a part of us. Pls change before being displaced and stuck in time.
Front side of the palm is flesh, back side of the hand is still flesh. Do not make it hard for us. Be a man and stand back up.

ps:poops are just a metaphor

Just another Sunday

Woke up a little late today. Had brunch while watching Hotel For Dogs. Hehe. Not bad.

I think all the little doggies are so cute. Makes me feel like getting one myself. Hehe. So I surfed for some dogs available hmm.. they are pretty expensive too. Another option I think that I can adopt one from SPCA or somewhere. Hmm. I've been looking through so many cute doggies today. I'm so tempted. But I think it's quite costly to maintain in terms of food, vet, and also the time to bring it out for walk, poop, bath, hmm.. it's not easy. Well I'll think about it again.
Hmm the outbreak of the H1N1 in Malaysia is a little scary. I thought of going to the island this weekend, but I chose to stay back in room. I dunno why I'm just a little freak out. Lol. Probably I just think too much. It ain't that bad I think. Still I avoid crowded places like pasar malam.

Rested for a while then went out to shop for some groceries in town. There isn't much stuff left at home for me to eat. LoL. Bought bread, tuna, marjerin, for breakfast, sotong ball, tom yam paste for dinner, some snack, juice, and a pack of korean noodles. Now I've plentiful of food. Still seems not enough. Wanted to buy more but afraid wait no more space left in the fridge for housemates. Lol. It was almost 8 when back home, so I bought apam just to fill my tummy while cooking dinner.

Something to fill my stomach

My dinner

Tom Yum's good. Burp. excuse me. Full now. Gonna stuck in front of my pc again.

Genting Trip ( way backdated )

Finally, a blog which I've been wanting to post for like ages. Just couldn't find the time to post everything. Probably next time i should break up into several parts. Maybe I'm just too lazy. Back in campus I am. Busyness is already bugging me. Had been working till night for the past few days as some work need to be rushed on. So no choice but to work like a slave. Cheap labours like he always said. Lol.

Genting trip was a trip we planned sort of adhoc trip just before the exams. I'm like having my first paper few days away. Quite a last minute trip and all the online rooms are fully book so we had to sort out other alternatives. We finally get an agent to book the accomodations and transportations too.
I wasn't really looking forward to the trip due to some reasons but during the trip I think I wasn't that bad after all. Had lots of fun and it's great.

Day 1
We reached early in the morning so we went sight seeing of the night kl city. Pretty nice view. We were waiting for sun rise and we waited and we realised that we were on the wrong side of the hill. Lol.

Another shot

There's the beautiful morning sun. Magnificent.

Me and the morning view

After phototaking of morning sun we went to Old Town for breakfast. The price there are rather same with the usual ones. So it wasn't too bad afterall. A nice cup of cold white coffee was just perfect.

There's the boss. Busy person.

There's SeohLi trying to show us that she's taller than 153cm. Yaya we knew it.

That's the Dreamz Master, SeePhang and his Tiger. Dun stare into his eyes. (I think he's working part time there)

So after breakfast it''s still too early to check in so we went to the temple half way down the hill for site seeing. A very nice place indeed. Lots of nice sceneries for phototaking.

Have some scandal going on. I'm curious too. Lol. ( should be easy to guess who is it )
A figurine at the entrance towards the temple which looks a little scary to me. Eww.

There's the big boss who really knows how to relax. Nice comfy seat.

Random

There's the nice pagoda. Isn't it just wonderful?

Cheezzz everyone

?????

That's the big buddha. Look at the tiny weenie guy there and you can imagine how big it is.

Remembering Uncle Lim.

A nice dragon craving on the pillar.

Focus.. stay still... pose...

Fairies..erm.. not really nice pic though..
That's phang again. Look alike? Nah i dun think so.

Seohli peeking over..

Different angle shots

I kinda like this pic. It has the misty feel.. hmm..

Suddenly it turned so sunny.. weather is unpredictable..

It was about noon that we went back to check in into the hotel. Drop our stuff rested for a while and went for buffet dinner at the resort hotel cafe. Not too bad. Cost us less than 40 which i would say it's cheap. We sort of celebrated HLyn's birthday by treating him to good food.
After dinner we went to the CASINO!! Just to have a look. Seeing others playing makes me felt like playing too. But I didn't. Actually I did, throw 10bucks into the stupid jackpot machine which is totally lame and pointless. I dun understand how those uncle and aunty can sit their right infront of that stupid machine. I lost that 10 ringgit just by clicking over and over again.

The one place not to be missed in genting. *grins*
Went back to hotel to rest.

Day 2

The whole day's plan was to play the whole theme park. Here we go.

Phototaking just outside before going in. There's Ivan at the back photoshooting too.

Looking into the lens.

The most exciting, SpaceShot which makes you feel like falling from the sky. Should try at least once. Thrilling.

If you've tried the Spaceshot, Pirate Ship is nothing. Phang and me just relaxing away while the 2 gurls are screaming their lungs out. LoL =P

Chocolate Factory in the themepark. That's one big easter egg. Couldn't carry it back.

I wished I have this clock in my room. But I might end up eating the whole thing. lol.
Oops. caught stealing the choc from the clock.
Then there's Seohli again trying to do some daring stuff.

Believe it or not?

Then we went for the bumper boat. We had a cameraman who was supposed to help us snap some photos. But due the long queue.......
he fell asleep...luckily he manage wake up when we were on the boat..

That's more like it..

Let's have some water fun. Gentlemen start your little boat!! Vrrmm....

That's a collision

Haunted mansion.. boo~~ I might be scared 10yrs ago.. hehe

The final one.. Superman! It's not that scary though. I thought it would. But nice ride though have to pay extra rm10.

Back into First World in the evening for dinner and went for indoor activities after that. Went casino later that night. Manage to earn a little. Not bad for a newbie. LoL. Back to bed at 4am. Hehe.

Day 3

Too lazy to take photos. Though there's some with Ivan. Pack our stuffs and got ready to check out. Tired but fun trip.

I wonder if there'll still be chance for another one. Gotta get to work now.
