Krabi Day 2

We chose a more relaxing tour for the 2nd day. A van came to pick us up from the hotel at about 830am. It started of with a visit to the Tiger Cave. It's really tough to recognize the direction. With all the thai writings and signboards everywhere. I can only roughly guess where we were but not the actual location or address. Upon arrival, I didn't really notice the tigers though. They had a huge pagoda like, with a goddess of mercy in it.

A shot in front of the pagoda

Besides that, they also have 2 routes, a short and simple one to some caves and a big tree.
It didn't specify if this is the tree, it looks big so we assumed it is.
The other was a 1000+ steps uphill climb to the top of the hill with a temple up there. We chose the first, wanted to try the second on but too bad we were insufficient time and only manage to climb about half way up. I think scenary up there would be nice. We met some Malaysians there, pretty cool, also a friendly Australian couple.

The Malaysian guy we met who was travelling with his family

The Aussie couple whom had the same tour as we do, so we keep seeing them all along

Then next stop was a hot spring. It was a rather small natural hot spring as it could hardly fit more than 10 person i guess, the water was about 40C. We just dipped ourselves for 15 to 30 min. Later we had lunch which was provided by the tour at a little restaurant at the entrance of the hot spring park. Some delicious local thai food was what we've been looking for. An unlimited refill of dishes and rice to keep us filled up.
Part of the hot spring
After lunch, we went to our next destination, emerald pool. From its name, we could guessed that the pool has emerald colour like water in it. The emerald colour was due to some minerals in the water. We did swam in the pool for a little while but the clouds were getting near and soon came the rain. We dried ourselves up and headed back to the van. However, rain came pouring and got us wet. As we thought the tour was over, the guide told us that we still have another elephant trekking to go. But, we were a little wet and cold, and a little too tired. So we gave it up and headed back to the hotel for a nice hot bath and changing into dry clothes instead.

Emerald pool, look at the colour of the water

Later that night, we walked down the street which is about 1km away. There are lots of shops, restaurants, bars, crowds, mostly for tourist though. We just picked a random restaurant for dinner.
Some food we had that night, padthai, goreng pisang with ice cream, stir fried chicken with cashew nuts

End of day 2.

Krabi Day 1

Then came 5days Krabi trip with Agnes and another couple, WC&EP. Just a free and easy trip to relax and rewind. On the day we reached it was raining and so we stayed in the hotel which we booked earlier, Aree Tara. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed. *Thumbs Up* Service was good, room was nice, clean, and beautifully decorated, breakfast was good though simple.
The room, nicely decorated
The balcony The Pool
The nice tropical design Aree Tara
Room 402
Ham, Sausages, Onion Rings, Noodles, Rice, Pan Cake French Toast, Salad, Omelet, Mix Fruit Yogurt was among the several main dishes for breakfast

Later that night we went out for dinner at some local restaurant. The lady boss was very friendly and recommended us some good food that they had. Ambient was lovely, dimly lighted, decent food, pricing was average.
Then we went to look for some local tour for the following days. We decided to take 2 full day trips.

A Hot Tiger CNY!

It's way pass CNY, and the weather is still scorching hot. Be it in Melaka, Penang, Parit Buntar, or Ipoh. It's all HOT HOT HOT.. Back in campus for a while, the weather here is totally real hot. The daily cold shower has now turned into a hot one. Y would anyone need a water heater anymore? Wish I could fix an air cond here. Sleeping on the mattress is like sleeping on a hot pan which got you sweating the whole night. When u tried sleeping on the floor which used to be cold is now just as hot. It's like staying in an oven. Free sauna everyday.
CNY this year wasn't really much to anticipate. Since my 2 sis is not home, it's only left with me, youngest sis, dad and grandma.

Holidays rather short for those working ones, so I didn't really get to visit much. Besides I went up to Ipoh on the 3rd and 4th day, which also skipped the visiting day with fellow friends. First 2 days at home as usual. A little relative visiting, and of course on the first day itself was Valentine's day.

Hanged out, ate dinner, went shopping with the special one. Pretty much it. Second day went shopping, watch movie, just trying to escape the heat by hiding in shopping complex. Hehe. Went gathered with some friends later that night at CC's house warming party.

When everyone was still sober
Posing at CC's mini bar for booze
When too much of booze some goes down

3rd, 4th and 5th was in Ipoh with Agnes and her parents to visit her grandparents and relatives there.

Later that week, Jess, Lina, LT and YY came down for a short trip. We went over to Hanlyn's place for visiting before heading to town. Jonker, Layer Cake, The Jetty, Satay Celup was among the few not to be missed.

Posing along Jonker Walk

They stayed over for a night and after dimsum for breakfast they headed to Klang. On the following monday, 220210 was Amy's registration day. My best wishes to them. =) I headed back campus that night.

Back here, it started off with some reluctance and laziness to get things started. No choice, I'll really need to get things moving, fast. It's gonna be a busy month.

The long holiday is ending soon

I safely arrived in KL sentral by KTM at about 530am. It wasn't that bad, i would say. The seat was pretty comfy, reasonable, not too bumpy, the air-cond was working but the lights were on all the time ( i can accept that ), was a little noisy ( i can accept that ), lots ppl walking in and out was a little distracting though. When you start sleeping and keep have this feeling of ppl walking by, esp if you are sitting by the aisle. I was awoken few times due to that. The conductor came in somewhere in the middle of the trip to check my tickets when i was half way in dreamland. Luckily I had it placed nicely before hand. One thing good about taking train is that you'll end up stopping in kl central early in the morning rather than in front of maybank around pudu. kl sentral was so much better, nicer, cleaner, safer, with toilet and places to sit around and wait for time. They even have McD.
So was back home enjoying myself relaxing. Din't get to eat tupat. sob. Just stayed home most of the time. But still manage to go shopping, went mamak, went dota, went satay celup, din't go for movies though ( not much nice show available ). However the nicest things to do is still staying home with family and lazing around. Hehe. Need to pack up a little and get ready to get back tonite.

Finally the trip has ended.. back in mlk..

I finally landed back in KL on saturday. A long trip indeed. Lots of money flowed out of my pocket. sob sob. but it was a great trip. even though there's ups n downs throughout the trip.
I had a little tummyache all the way back. Had a little food poisoning. What a souvenir to bring back. So just rested myself. Now much better. Well gotta start catching up a lot of stuff esp those back in uni. Can't wait to post my pics. Just too much of it. One bad news is my pendrive got infected by some virus along the way. @!#!%%^&# So trying to fix it first. Will take some time.

Besides Congrats to the USM team. Yippie. *thumbs up* We were the champ in P2EC. I wish i was there. *sob* but still happy for them there. Effort not wasted.

Regards from Vietnam!

It's been a long time since my last post. Reason : I'm in Vietnam. I din't have my lappy with me. So i only survive with whatever internet's available.
I've been to Hanoi, with the craziest traffic i've ever seen, Halong Bay, greatest wonder of the world, Sapa, it's just great. Then I stayed back in Hanoi for few more days. Met lots of new friends. Totally unexpected. My journey continues to Hue, nice town, hot weather, bad luck ( lost a bike, ended up paying 1mil ), relaxed a little in Danang, now hanging out in Hoi An, an ancient city, lots of tourist, have a little feel of malacca just without the traffic. Still a long way to go. Will try to post more updates where ever possible. Next up is Nha Trang and Saigon.

That's it for now...

Persuading and Convincing Sucks!

Here i am again. Been lazing for a while. Actually not really. Just busy with other stuffs. Work in the lab still continues. Been working up late for several days. Then the guys from Perodua stopped by last Friday to check on our progress and the works going on. Then had some discussion and QnA. I left a little early for work (parttime).

We threw everything out of the car and we mean everything. Poor car.

He looks bad.

Been working part time last weekend as Digi Promoter in Carrefour. Money is just not enough. Persuading and convincing ppl is just not my type of job. I thought it wouldn't be that hard but somehow I was proven wrong. I failed badly. Should i just stop doing that and just stand there for 8 hours instead doing nothing. Hmm.. maybe not. I might try take up the challenge again some other time. I must do better in near future. Somehow I think those skills is rather important nowadays and you just can't learn it from books. You have to try and fail and try till you succeed. Anyway, still manage to survive that 3 days. Haven't been working for a while made me so tired everyday after work. Wonder how did I survived last time from 9am when i step out of house and back at midnight. Any words or idea to success in this? Hehe.

Back again in campus after 3 days of hardwork. Did some work here and there in the lab. On the other hand, i was busy planning on my Vietnam trip. Yippie. I'm so looking forward to it. Still working on it with Teodore and some confirmations needs to be done and Vietnam Here I Come!!! It's just 2 weeks away. Wonder if I'll get to blog during my trip. Hopefully I can get to update it throughout the wholetrip when I have the time..

Genting Trip ( way backdated )

Finally, a blog which I've been wanting to post for like ages. Just couldn't find the time to post everything. Probably next time i should break up into several parts. Maybe I'm just too lazy. Back in campus I am. Busyness is already bugging me. Had been working till night for the past few days as some work need to be rushed on. So no choice but to work like a slave. Cheap labours like he always said. Lol.

Genting trip was a trip we planned sort of adhoc trip just before the exams. I'm like having my first paper few days away. Quite a last minute trip and all the online rooms are fully book so we had to sort out other alternatives. We finally get an agent to book the accomodations and transportations too.
I wasn't really looking forward to the trip due to some reasons but during the trip I think I wasn't that bad after all. Had lots of fun and it's great.

Day 1
We reached early in the morning so we went sight seeing of the night kl city. Pretty nice view. We were waiting for sun rise and we waited and we realised that we were on the wrong side of the hill. Lol.

Another shot

There's the beautiful morning sun. Magnificent.

Me and the morning view

After phototaking of morning sun we went to Old Town for breakfast. The price there are rather same with the usual ones. So it wasn't too bad afterall. A nice cup of cold white coffee was just perfect.

There's the boss. Busy person.

There's SeohLi trying to show us that she's taller than 153cm. Yaya we knew it.

That's the Dreamz Master, SeePhang and his Tiger. Dun stare into his eyes. (I think he's working part time there)

So after breakfast it''s still too early to check in so we went to the temple half way down the hill for site seeing. A very nice place indeed. Lots of nice sceneries for phototaking.

Have some scandal going on. I'm curious too. Lol. ( should be easy to guess who is it )
A figurine at the entrance towards the temple which looks a little scary to me. Eww.

There's the big boss who really knows how to relax. Nice comfy seat.

There's the nice pagoda. Isn't it just wonderful?

Cheezzz everyone

?????

That's the big buddha. Look at the tiny weenie guy there and you can imagine how big it is.

Remembering Uncle Lim.

A nice dragon craving on the pillar.

Focus.. stay still... pose...

Fairies..erm.. not really nice pic though..
That's phang again. Look alike? Nah i dun think so.

Seohli peeking over..

Different angle shots

I kinda like this pic. It has the misty feel.. hmm..

Suddenly it turned so sunny.. weather is unpredictable..

It was about noon that we went back to check in into the hotel. Drop our stuff rested for a while and went for buffet dinner at the resort hotel cafe. Not too bad. Cost us less than 40 which i would say it's cheap. We sort of celebrated HLyn's birthday by treating him to good food.
After dinner we went to the CASINO!! Just to have a look. Seeing others playing makes me felt like playing too. But I didn't. Actually I did, throw 10bucks into the stupid jackpot machine which is totally lame and pointless. I dun understand how those uncle and aunty can sit their right infront of that stupid machine. I lost that 10 ringgit just by clicking over and over again.

The one place not to be missed in genting. *grins*
Went back to hotel to rest.

Day 2

The whole day's plan was to play the whole theme park. Here we go.

Phototaking just outside before going in. There's Ivan at the back photoshooting too.

Looking into the lens.

The most exciting, SpaceShot which makes you feel like falling from the sky. Should try at least once. Thrilling.

If you've tried the Spaceshot, Pirate Ship is nothing. Phang and me just relaxing away while the 2 gurls are screaming their lungs out. LoL =P

Chocolate Factory in the themepark. That's one big easter egg. Couldn't carry it back.

I wished I have this clock in my room. But I might end up eating the whole thing. lol.
Oops. caught stealing the choc from the clock.
Then there's Seohli again trying to do some daring stuff.

Believe it or not?

Then we went for the bumper boat. We had a cameraman who was supposed to help us snap some photos. But due the long queue.......
he fell asleep...luckily he manage wake up when we were on the boat..

That's more like it..

Let's have some water fun. Gentlemen start your little boat!! Vrrmm....

That's a collision

Haunted mansion.. boo~~ I might be scared 10yrs ago.. hehe

The final one.. Superman! It's not that scary though. I thought it would. But nice ride though have to pay extra rm10.

Back into First World in the evening for dinner and went for indoor activities after that. Went casino later that night. Manage to earn a little. Not bad for a newbie. LoL. Back to bed at 4am. Hehe.

Day 3

Too lazy to take photos. Though there's some with Ivan. Pack our stuffs and got ready to check out. Tired but fun trip.

I wonder if there'll still be chance for another one. Gotta get to work now.
