Lunched @ Little Cottage Cafe, Burma Road

Heard some good comments on this cafe, so Agnes and I decided to went there for lunch after work on Saturday. We headed over to the one along Burma Road. It's just few shops after the CTY Pet Shop ( quite a large building, 4/5 floors ). The cafe is a double storey building. We sat at the lower floor which seems a little smaller. I didn't went to the upper level though. The interior was pretty cosy comfortable. They serve pretty reasonable set lunch, which comes with a soup of the day, bread, main course, dessert and either coffee or tea for 9.90, 15.90 & 19.90. For the menu. They will serve each of them in that order. The coffee came last though. I'm not sure if they missed that out or it was suppose to serve last. We ordered a Golden Fried Fish Fillet and Chicken Chop Little Cottage Style. On the overall I'd say that the food was worth trying. Thumbs up.

Homecoming...

Yet again, holiday is just around the corner, or should i say has finally started. one week of break for Raya, just a perfect timing for break. I'm already in the holiday mood, refused to touch my work, just staring at my screen, watching movie, reading some blogs and writing this post. Some are already back home, some will be back tomorrow or later and there are even some who will not be back home. I guess i'll need to enjoy this holiday as during the semester break i'll probably be stuck in campus working on my FYP.
Anyway i'll be going back on sat with HL as he'll be driving back. SK had been asking on my arrival back home so that he can plan for activities. haha. I wonder who else will be back mlk. Hope to see some souls back in town.
I won't be back too long. Be coming back campus on Raya second day. Gotta get some stuff doing and work done before class resumes. After Raya then gotta start getting back into serious business. Assignments, test, reports, presentations everything will start haunting again. Will worry about that later.

Mooncake Festival Celebration @ Tambun

Tambun was where we went on sat night for a nice meal of seafood. It's raining a little that night. Cool enough, with the delicious food and a cup of Peach Absolutwas just perfect.

Potluck @ Eric's

Once again, potluck event organised to celebrate mooncake festival. Everyone brought along some food and met up at Eric's place. It's nice having such events when friends get together to hang out. So let's dig in.

Rice's ready. Everyone grab your food. A variety of food served which include mix vege, green vege, chicken, green pepper,sausages, nuggets, fried wontons, cucurs. Even Owen's hungry.

After dinner we were all so full. So it's tanglung time. We also brought along tanglungs and mooncake celebrate this event. We went down to the park downstairs to start our second event.

Lighting up candles. We've got Loong the water boy, serving the drink. Ni getting the mooncakes divided equally. Lanterns lighted up, too bad can't really see the person behind it. hehe. And Loong posing with his little lantern.

I was also busy keeping the lanterns lighted up. Some were busy chatting their way, Owen was curious about what's happening. I accidentally got a lantern on fire. Oops. Luckily din't it's just a lantern.
There were other groups of people there also busy lighting up their lanterns. It feels nice having lots ppl around celebrating the event. Under the moonlight, sipping our drinks and eating mooncake. Just perfect. We hanged out till bout midnight. And went back to Eric's for a while, cleared things up and time to go home.

That's Owen again, he can actually dance around on his 2 feet. So cute. Serf trained him well. Hehe.

Introducing Lilo & Popi. That's Eric's. They are sugargliders which i've nvr seen anyone having as a pet. They're cute too. Tiny little creature. They've been laying there sleeping all day long. I guess he noticed that i was taking a pic of him. They will only be active in the middle of the night ( just like the owner *giggles* ).

不知为什么今天没心情作东西.我望着电脑,电脑望着我.
什么都不想作.有点孤独的感受.当我需要朋友聊天的时刻却没人回我.
要不是就很忙.
我可以接受.
当我看见朋友在聊着,我走了过去,但人家却走开一边,可能在说着私人事.
我能接受.
就回到我该作的事.我收到某些消息,但总觉得有人在我背后
不想让我知道.我也不知发生什么事.我也不知该怎么做.
都是在关心着朋友. 总想不通. 突然边了一个陌生人.
还好打了一场球. 发泄了一点.
可能陪排斥了.
或许我想太多了.
或许是我自己的问题.
该做的已经做了.
别想太多了. 还有很多事等着我去做地.

Unhappy incident..

I was having my usual squash game in the evening with HL, just when we were about to leave a coursemate came to look for me saying that there's ppl looking for me from main campus. Without doubt i knew it's SOS from my dear Agnes. That day was one of the few days which i leave my phone in the room. Hurriedly i went back and grab hold of my phone. A little worried i was not knowing what was the matter. I returned call to KF then to Zoey trying to get to Agnes. Then i knew that unluckily she had became victim of a snatch thief.
Thank god nothing serious just losing her handbag. She had her newly bought phone, some cash, and car keys. What got us worried was the car keys which we worried that the thief would come back for the car as she was approaching the car when the incident took place. So I had no choice but to rush over as i have another spare key with me. I reached there at about 9pm. Took the car and went for dinner. Later that night she had to go over to the Tanjung Tokong Police Station to meet with an officer for futher report on the incident. By the time we settled everything it's almost midnight.

The following day i skipped classes and accompanied her to get her IC replaced, driving license, cancellation of bank card and replace with a new one, and getting a replaced simcard.

Hopefully some good luck will be coming our way.

MidSem Break..

Just posting some past events. Summer Concert MITC. JC,Phang,Fei come down to malacca for the concert. So me and GY took turns bringing them out. That weekend was quite a tired one. I reached back home fri morn. Rested for a while then had dinner with them. Satay Celup, among the must try for those not from mlk. hehe.

Then we headed to Jonker Walk for a stroll and see if there's any stuff to buy. It has a variety of handicrafts and cute little items. We even stop by for some local food.
Later that night, they went back to GY's place, while i had other plans. hehe. The guys called my over to beeb at first but it was about to rain so they switch to EQ lounge. My first time there. Quite a nice place to me. I ordered a mojito which seems to have the lowest alcohol content. It's sort off rum+lime juice. I liked it. Hehe. Then later the guys have not had enough. So we drop by at Pure Bar and had 2 buckets. It's indeed a great night with them.

The following day, meet up with JC, Phang ,MFei again. Went to Cheng hoon Teng temple. Went for the famous Chicken Rice Balls for lunch which I will nvr ever go there for lunch. Cos the queue is always neverending and it's quite pricey. Then i drop them for shopping after lunch while I went home to get some stuff done. Then meet up with them for karaoke @the Jetty with some fellow campus mates. some locals some not. Seems like a little gathering in mlk.
Then came evening, getting ready for the concert. It's drizzling a little. I ask my dear sis who was so nice to drop me at MITC as i don't wanna get involve in the massive jam and problem finding parking. The concert started almost 830pm which was a little late. Various artists appeared in the concert, among some were local superstar winners, which none of them that is familiar to me at all. Then there were the more popular one like , Show, Jam, Energy, Rainie, Stanley and not forgetting Jolin. Luckily it didn't pour much. Just a little drizzle.

Summer concert 2008

After the concert I was having a hard time calling out. Luckily still manage to get to my dad to pick me up. Arrived home safely at about 1am.
Quickly jumped into bed and caught a 2hours sleep. Got up at 3am, drove down to Seremban with dad n sis for the Seremban Half Marathon 2008. I didn't participate for the half though, just took the quarter as i didn't train much. The race started about 7am. It's a little tougher this time as they'd changed the route a little, more of hilly areas which was really taxing. Finished in about an hour. Sis was much better as she came back 4th placing in her category. *clap clap*.

Seremban Half Marathon 2008

We headed back mlk and reached back about noon. Rested for a while, before i could actually enjoy my rest I need to get on the bus back to campus. Reached back campus at bout 10pm. Thx to lian who picked me up from the bus station that night.

Finally some quality rest? I doubt, had work loads pending waiting right on my desk. Sigh.. Tiring it mayb, but enjoyable is the most important making it worth the tiredness.

The final day. Went to Georgetown for dim sum breakfast at opposite KDU. The food was good and not too expensive. Worth trying. One of my favourite spot for breakfast. Hehe. It's quite pack during weekends.

Agnes’s convo was in the afternoon. She had to be there by 230pm. I dropped them in USM and headed back home. I watched the live streaming of the ceremony at home, the earlier part. And recorded hers as it was the later part. I got ready and went over. I was sweating like a pig as it’s kinda hot and I had to carry lots of stuffs which includes 2 bouquet of flowers on my left hand, camera hanged over my neck and shoot with single right hand, and some little stuffed toys in the bag behind.

Crowded as usual, eagerly waiting for the participants in the hall to come out. When I saw Agnes and her friends coming out I eagerly started shooting with the cam.

Then met up with friends, her parents then photos and more photos. Hehe. I even met some course mates ( HL, PL, JC, Phang, WH ) there with their friends. Finally we left about 7. Went SuperTanker for dinner and went home to pack up as her parents’ bus is at 1030pm.

After seeing her parents off we headed back and had a good rest. Definitely tiring.

CONVOLYMPIC PART II ( SAT )

Saturday was a little break from convo. Brought Agnes’ parents out for breakfast in Ayer Hitam then went up Kek Lok Si to have a look and take some nice pictures. Hehe. Met some seniors and frens. Seems like whole penang is crowded with friends and their family.

Then we went over to Gerogetown for Penang Laksa and TeoChew Chendol which are among the must have in Penang. The weather was a little gloomy and it drizzled a little.

Then we headed back home, took a rest and got ready for photoshoot in the evening at Santiago Bridal House, Georgetown. Agnes had 2 sessions, one with family and another with friends. So it’s kinda crowded at the studio. Everyone was trying to look as good as possible. After that they had more photoshoot on their own since all were still looking good.

It’s pass 9 when we finally decided to leave. And we headed to Jelutong for dinner. Back home, took a shower, transferred some photos, charged up all batteries preparing for the next day. Tiring 2nd Day.

CONVOLYMPIC PART I

it took me quite sometime to had this posted up. i'm a little lazy and busy anyway. i'll try to keep up again. hehe.

It’s been a tiring weekend. Finally it’s over. What a relieve. I can’t imagine when it’s my turn next year. It’s started off with Engineering on Friday afternoon. I followed HL over from campus. I had to collect flowers for my senior and fetch Agnes’ parents while she had to tidy up the place for them.
After dropping them off at home I headed off to USM main hall where lots of my friends where already there. This is my first time attending a convocation. We had to wait till the whole ceremony to be over which was almost 6. We walked around the bazaar, took a drink and waiting for time to pass. Then when it’s almost time ppl started crowding in front of the hall eagerly waiting for the sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, and friends. It took my quite some time to get to my seniors. So is everyone else. It was so crowded that even gathering at the post office is not good enough. Front, back, left , right? Everywhere filled with ppl. Then photo taking with whoever we met.
Luckily I borrowed Momo’s new cam, Sony A200 to take some nice shots. I’m not too familiar with it though but still manage to get some nice shots. Ryan also brought his shooting away. I hanged around till almost 8, picked Agnes’ with her parents and took dinner in Queensbay. Tiring day 1.

6 of August is the date. I hereby wish her a very happy n wonderful birthday! I may not be able to celebrate with her on this very memorable day but my heart will always be with her all the time. We'll postpone the celebration to some dates later. Hmm. I haven't decided on how to celebrate with her yet this year. Postponing the celebration bought me a little more time. Buying her a present is also another thing to think about. Well, anyway i'll just keep all these secret for the time being. Hehe.

Happy Birthday Littlest Sis!!

Just creating a short post to wish my dear littlest sis a very happy birthday. I almost forgotten all about it. Luckily dad reminded me. oops. Paiseh. Littlest sis she is. As she's the youngest and physically the smallest. She's currently in form 3 but i think she looked more like a primary school girl. haha. ( so bad of me ) Anyway I also take this opportunity to wish her all the best and good luck for her PMR which i think is just around the corner.
